Resident Holiday Artwork December 2015

The holidays! Actual snowy weather and a festive holiday atmosphere helped transform Artisan to a fun and creative art venue. Artisan Artist in Residence Amy inspired resident in recent art sessions with photos of Christmas-y artwork, beautiful pictures of winter wonderlands, birds in winter, Christmas trees and scenes, and lots of fun snowmen.

With wonderful inspirational images gracing the art tables and holiday music filling the air, it was wonderful to see our artists get inspired and embrace more and more of the holiday spirit.

And the fabulous results? One resident doodled a Christmas tree with red and silver markers. Another focused on a festive stocking. We saw the creation of a magical nativity scene. Even even with one resident’s very limited physical abilities are very limited, we saw her paint a lovely scene with pine trees and cardinals.
