Amazing waterscapes and blooms - June 2016

Wisconsin is a state with lots of gorgeous landscapes. There are many beautiful bodies of water as well, and the backdrop against the waters is also simply lovely. Artisan residents recently worked with Artisan Artist in Residence Amy, and found inspiration in books, magazine, lush photographs, and memories to create stunning works that showcase the diverse beauty of Wisconsin. From Door County, to the Great Lakes; from Lake Monona in Madision to all the other bodies of water (both big and small) found across the state, our resident artists created fabulous art.

Our study of blooms and flowers also continued this month. Wisconsin's natural beauty is abundant this time of year, and residents used real flowers and images plus their own recollections of favorite blossoms to create stunning works. Summer is starting to fully bloom at Artisan communities!
